Loud bangs have been heard, stones have been pelted from all directions, and many sinister energies are said to lurk in the darkness, including a towering dark mass which roams the corridors sending anyone who witnesses it fleeing in terror. Venue History

Woodchester Mansion is the second large building to sit on this site, it’s former was the Georgian country house named Spring Park which was demolished to make way for Woodchester, a Mansion that never met completion. It is thought that during construction in 1868 the workers mysteriously dropped their tools and ceased all work, never to return. Some say that this was due to the workers being spooked by dark energies that plagued them, plus a series of odd deaths and even a murder taking place during the works.

During the Second World War Woodchester Mansion found life once again and was used to billet Canadian and American Troops. There is a tragic mention of a training exercise that went wrong, when a pontoon bridge collapsed sending all personal and vehicles to the bottom of the nearby lake. The bodies of these poor souls were then said to of been stored in Woodchester Mansion and through this, many reports of ghostly WWII soldiers have been witnessed roaming the many rooms at night.
