For the first time ever, brand new rooms have been opened in 2025, making this year’s Four Crosses Inn Ghost Hunt unlike anything before with Haunted Houses Events. These hidden areas have never been investigated on a public ghost hunt before this year, giving you the rare opportunity to be among the first to step inside.
Built in 1636 and standing on the edge of the infamous Haunted Cannock Chase, Calling last orders in 2019, the Four Crosses inn is more than just a now haunted pub past it’s heyday — it’s a place where history, tragedy, and the paranormal collide. While other venues might give you cells or halls, here you get an atmospheric coaching inn that feels alive with energy in every corner. Brave the dark, damp cellar and three other floors – if you dare!

Dating back to 1636, this inn was built from reclaimed shipping timbers — said to still carry the energies of those who travelled the seas. The result is a building that feels alive, swaying with atmosphere and heavy with history.
Located beside the legendary Cannock Chase, a hotspot for paranormal reports, the Four Crosses is connected to stories of witchcraft, UFOs, shadow dogs with glowing red eyes, and unexplainable apparitions.
With newly opened rooms doubling the venue space, each ghost hunt here feels like entering a different world — even if you’ve visited before.

- Honesty is our only policy! This is a real ghost hunt experience. There is no faking or trickery of paranormal activity. If it happens, then it is for real!
- Teamwork! Your ghost hunt will be run in a small and personal group giving you maximum involvement
- Be hands on! You will have access to everything you need to conduct your experiments throughout the night – no sharing equipment with other groups or waiting around
- Don’t be disturbed! Exclusive night-time access to the location for your overnight ghost hunt
- Learn about various ghost hunting techniques and try them out for yourself on your investigation or share any knowledge you already possess to aid the investigation
- Discover more about the high-tech ghost hunting gadgets. Many as seen on T.V, hold them in your hands and freely use them
- Take part! Help to lead a scientific vigil, or perhaps a more traditional ghost hunting experiment- or simply just be an observer. The choice is yours
- Working respectfully. Start your evening by learning how to apply spiritual protection, and work using the upmost respect for the sprits we encounter and fellow guests
- All attendees must be 16 years or older
- Not suitable for those in pregnancy
- This is a very dark location, all attendees must bring a torch with them
- All attendees are expected to wear sensible shoes and warm layered clothing
- This location has free parking. A private car park is to the rear of the building
